In Outreachly, a blacklist is a designated list of contacts who will no longer receive emails or LinkedIn messages from your account.

Blacklists are typically used to exclude individuals or domains that are existing clients, have unsubscribed, opted out, or who you generally don't want to reach.

Even if the prospect is in your data or search, they will not be contacted.

Steps to add your Blacklist via CSV

  1. Log in to Outreachly.

  2. Select "Settings" from the menu on the left.

  3. Select "Blacklist".

Option 1:

  • Upload a CSV with the relevant headers and information from the companies or prospects you want to exclude. The following attributes are available for matching:

    First Name

    Link to profile

    Email

    Last Name

    Website

    Position

    Company Name

    Company Linkedin URL

    Twitter (𝕏)

  • Select "Upload CSV"

Option 2

  • Add the LinkedIn URL or company URL individually in the box "Add Tag".

  • Press 'Enter' on your keyboard.

💡 You don't need to match all fields, but the more you match, the more specific the exclusion will be.

How to remove someone from your Blacklist?

You can click on the link you want to remove & it will be automatically updated.

🚀Success! Your blacklist is now updated, ensuring your campaigns stay targeted, compliant, and optimized for maximum engagement in Outreachly.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ):

  • Does the blacklist work with email-only campaigns? If so what is needed to be added?

Yes, it works. You can add to the blacklist for email campaigns based on any of the criteria - except for the Company's LinkedIn URL and Link to profile as the campaign is email only.
