Template messages make it easy to create consistency in your outreach. Adding a template message to a campaign step ensures that each interaction follows a structured approach, saving time while keeping your messaging on-brand and relevant.
Follow the Steps:
Login to Outreachly.
Select "Campaigns".
Create a new campaign or edit one of the existing ones.
Add a Step to the sequence.
Choose the step type.
Select "Template".
Select the templated message & choose to 'Link' or 'Unlink' the template.
If you 'Unlink,' the template uses the content, but if any edits are made, they don't change the template for all campaigns in which it's used.
If you keep it 'Linked', then If you change the content in the step or the template, it will be changed for all campaigns in which it's used.
Click "Save Step".
How does updating a template impact active campaigns?
If you keep the template message linked, when you update a template used in an Outreachly campaign, the changes will only apply to new prospects executed after the update.
The executed steps will remain unchanged for prospects who have already progressed through the campaign.
