Your sender name, along with your subject line, is the first thing people notice when your email arrives. If it doesn’t look right, recipients may only see your full email address instead of your name.
To ensure your emails appear professional and trustworthy, Outreachly allows you to set a custom sender name for any mailbox connected to your account. A clear sender name helps build credibility and can improve deliverability and open rates.
💡 Custom sender names aren’t available for Outlook mailboxes at this time.
Steps to Set a Custom Sender Name
Go to the "Mailboxes" tab in Outreachly.
Select the mailbox you want to update.
Under your email address, find the "Sender Name" section.
Click the pencil icon to edit.
Choose one of the two options:
Use your email provider’s default name (e.g., from Google).
Enter a custom sender name (e.g., John Smith).
Click Save to confirm your update. You’ll see a confirmation once it’s applied.
With this feature, you have full control over how your name appears in inboxes. You can change it anytime or revert back to your email provider’s default name whenever you like.
🚀Success! Your emails will now appear more professional, helping you build trust and improve open rates.
