The Blacklist feature helps you exclude unwanted prospects from campaigns before they’re added. This keeps your outreach clean, saves time, and avoids manual filtering later.
Where to Find the Blacklist
Go to Settings > Blacklist to manage exclusions.
How to Blacklist Prospects
You can exclude prospects by entering specific criteria such as:
Names
Workplaces
Job titles
Email addresses
Website URLs
Direct Social profile links (only open profiles, not hashed links)
🚨Excluding the "Company Social URL" isn’t supported yet.
Steps to add entries:
Type a word, phrase, or link into the field.
Press Enter/Return to add multiple entries.
Click Clear All to remove everything, or double-click an entry to delete just that one.
🚨The blacklist matches exact entries only. For example:
Adding “Apple” will block prospects named Apple, but not Apple Inc.
Website exclusions must match the full URL exactly. Partial matches aren’t supported.
Uploading a CSV File
If you already have a list of prospects to exclude:
Click Upload CSV.
Make sure each field (e.g., name, company, email) is in its own column.
The system will compare these values against your prospect data and apply exclusions.
💡If you change your mind, click Cancel Recent Upload before leaving the page.
Manually Blacklist Prospects
You can also exclude prospects directly:
Go to the Prospects tab.
Select the prospect(s).
Click Action > Exclude from Campaigns.
💡Open a prospect’s info card and choose "Exclude" there.
Why a Prospect Might Not Appear in the Blacklist
Insufficient data: The system couldn’t match the exclusion.
Exact match required: If you blacklist “Apple,” but the company name is “Apple Inc.,” the exclusion won’t apply.
How to Remove Prospects from the Blacklist
Go to the Prospects tab.
Find the blacklisted prospect.
Tick the box next to their name.
Select Action > Remove from Blacklist.
🚀Success! The Blacklist helps you stay efficient by keeping the wrong prospects out of your campaigns.
