Why Do You Need to Delete Pending Connections?

1. LinkedIn Connection Limits

LinkedIn limits the number of pending connection requests you can have anytime. Although the exact number isn’t officially disclosed, it’s typically around 100 weekly connection requests.

If too many requests remain pending, LinkedIn may temporarily restrict further requests, which can slow down your networking and outreach efforts. Deleting pending requests frees up space for new connections, ensuring your campaigns can continue smoothly without delays.

2. Repurpose Contacts for Future Campaigns

An ignored connection request doesn’t necessarily mean the opportunity is lost. Deleting pending requests allows you to include these same prospects in future campaigns with new messaging or a different approach.

This strategy helps keep your outreach dynamic and effective, providing opportunities to reconnect and engage with valuable leads you might have missed.

How to Delete Pending Connections?

  2. Select "Pending Connections".

  3. Turn 'On' the toggle to orange to activate this feature.

  4. Set the limit for the "Number of connections to be deleted per day" to a range between 10 & 20

  5. Set the "Maximum Pending Connections" to a sensible range (500 - 900).
